TICRA welcomes new CEO to drive next phase of innovation and growth

15 Dec 2023

TICRA is thrilled to announce that from December 2023 Simon Barchard has taken the lead as the company’s new CEO.

TICRA’s board decided that now was the right time to change leadership and management style and direction, to continue a slow-but-steady growth of TICRA and to ensure that the company remains resilient in the future. Chairman of TICRA’s board, Oscar Borries, elaborates:

“For a new CEO, we wanted someone with a technical background and that has worked for many years with technically innovative products, while at the same time possessing substantial experience within management, strategy, and business development. With Simon, we are confident that we have found the right match, that perfectly balances the TICRA culture and mindset with what the company needs in the years to come”.

Simon Barchard has more than 20 years of experience from the high-tech marine industry working with both technology and business development and most recently as Vice President of Business Development for Teledyne Marine. Simon is excited to join TICRA and the many customers and partners working in the space industry:

I have always had a fascination for space, and I am excited to work with the TICRA team to continue the journey developing the advanced simulation tools required to support the growth of the space industry”.

Furthermore, Simon sees in TICRA an attractive combination of high-end products and highly skilled employees:

TICRA has unique products for antenna simulation and design, and I am impressed by the wealth of skills and bright minds I have the privilege of working with every day. I look forward to seeing TICRA grow and continuing the positive journey at the forefront of technology innovation”.
