TICRA Foundation and EurAAP announce 10 travel grant opportunities at EuCAP 2020

08 Dec 2019

When EuCAP visits our hometown of Copenhagen, Denmark, March 15-20, 2020, the TICRA Foundation and EurAAP will offer up to 10 grants each consisting of a full registration fee, the conference dinner fee, as well as EUR 700 or EUR 1,000 for travel and accommodation depending on the country of residence.

Authors are invited to send their application as soon as their paper is submitted; but grants will be pending paper acceptance. The selection will be based on the author’s potential or demonstrated aptitude for research and will also take into account the author’s financial situation. Applicants from all regions and career stages are encouraged to apply with preference given to earlier careers.

Application requirements

To be considered for the travel grants, applicants are required to provide the following:

  •  Motivational letter (max ½ page)
  • Brief resumé (max 2 pages)
  • Full conference paper
  • EDAS registration number

As the grants will be given during the conference dinner at EuCAP 2020, the awardees are requested to make their own travel arrangements to the conference accordingly. The grants will be transferred to each awardee after the conclusion of the conference, conditional on the awardee participating at the conference and dinner.

Application deadline

Please submit your motivational letter, resumé, conference paper and a copy of the conference paper acceptance to eucap@ticra.com with “Travel grant” in the subject line no later than 18 December 2019. Successful candidates will be notified by 13 January 2020.

A committee at TICRA and EurAPP will make the selection of the 10 final recipients of the travel grant.
