Improved Source Reconstruction Technique for Antenna Diagnostics

This paper presents an improved inverse Method of Moment
technique that allows surface currents to be reconstructed
on the surface of an antenna. The input to the
algorithm is measured near- or far-fields and the method
therefore allows antenna engineers to perform antenna diagnostics
by inspection of extreme near-fields or antenna
currents. The new method provides higher accuracy and
is more robust against noise than previously published
methods.
