Min Zhou defends his Ph.D. thesis

25 Jan 2013

Min’s Ph.D work on Reflectarrays was carried out in cooperation with TICRA and The Technical University of Denmark over the last 3 years. The thesis titled “Accurate Modelling of Advanced Reflectarrays”, was defended succesfully on January 22., at an extremely well attended session at TUD. External examiners were Prof. S. Rengarajan, CSU Northridge, Dr. H. Legay, Thales Alenia Space, France and Dr. U. Gothelf, Thrane&Thrane, Denmark.

The thesis has sparked substantial interest, as evidenced by the inquisitiveness of the examinators. Dr. Zhou responded most aptly to all questions, and a unanimous recommendation to award the Technical Ph.D. degree to Min was taken.

We are happy that Min has decided to continue as a full-time employee at TICRA where he may get the opportunity to further develop his skills within reflect arrays.

Congratulations!
