Introduction of ARRAY
Dedicated phased array analysis and optimisation
ARRAY is TICRA’s dedicated software for phased-array antenna design, analysis and optimisation, supporting the full workflow from element definition to array performance and optimisation within a single environment.
Both analytical methods and full-wave simulation are supported, enabling evaluation of design trade-offs and refinement of array performance using higher-fidelity models. Interactive tools such as Array Liveplot provide instant performance feedback, allowing users to quickly assess array behaviour and iterate on designs.
A library of predefined elements, together with support for user-defined geometries, enables modelling of a wide range of array types, including multilayer patch and waveguide-based designs. Dedicated solution methods enable efficient analysis of large and complex array configurations across applications such as radar, 5G, 6G and satellite communications.
ARRAY also includes built-in optimisation capabilities for both excitation coefficients and element geometry, supporting beamforming design and performance tuning for demanding radiation and scattering requirements.
Integrated with TICRA Tools, ARRAY enables system-level workflows by combining with GRASP, CHAMP 3D, ESTEAM, and UQ within a consistent simulation environment.

ARRAY has a specialised solver for patch arrays with multilayered PCBs.
Modernised User Experience (All products)
New TICRA Tools GUI
The graphical user interface has been redesigned with a focus on improved navigation, project organisation and workflow clarity. The updated interface provides a more intuitive and consistent user experience across TICRA Tools.
Key improvements include a consolidated Objects tab, clearer hierarchy and dependency visualisation, and a modernised ribbon with contextual commands. The streamlined interface makes it easier to manage large projects and move seamlessly between different products in the TICRA Tools suite.

TICRA Tools is now more intuitive to navigate with the modernised GUI.
Integrated CAD Editor (ARRAY, ESTEAM, CHAMP 3D)
EM-tailored modelling directly inside TICRA Tools
The new integrated CAD editor brings parametric geometry modelling directly into TICRA Tools. It allows you to define and modify antenna elements and complex structures without relying on external CAD software.
By keeping the modelling and simulation process within a single environment, the workflow is simplified and the transition from geometry definition to electromagnetic analysis becomes more efficient.

The integrated CAD editor allows seamless modelling in ARRAY, ESTEAM, and CHAMP 3D.
What this release enables
TICRA Tools 26.0 represents an important step in how phased-array systems can be designed, analysed and optimised within a single environment.
With the introduction of ARRAY, alongside integrated geometry editing and a modernised user interface, the release brings together capabilities that support more efficient workflows from early-stage design to system-level analysis.
